    Contenders for this award will offer superior bar design and comfort, backed up by friendly, knowledgeable staff if necessary with expertise in a particular area of beverage operation, such as whisky, gin or wine. The character and atmosphere of the bar is paramount. Overall bar ‘personality’ and its sense of place are also factors. We will consider the quality and value of bar food, if provided as part of the guest offering.
