    The events sector is demanding and high-value: individuals and businesses entrusting an event to a hotel must be able to do so with confidence. Thus, we look across the nation for contenders and the winner may come from any of our 9 judging regions. Nominee hotels in the Events category will handle medium to large-scale events and functions (excluding weddings) and will have suitably dedicated facilities. Judges will look for business testimonials in addition to considering the hotel’s features, décor and functionality. Adaptability and original thinking are advantages while the quality of event catering is a key element of the winner’s armoury. Vital up-to-date technical assets and capabilities of rooms and suites are analysed; issues such as parking ease, accommodation suitability, support services and team skills and experience will be looked at.
