    Perhaps the most valuable single piece of business a hotel can receive is a wedding booking; it is therefore not surprising that many hotels ‘do’ weddings. That, in itself, will not ‘do’ for this national award, chosen from regional winners across the nation. No, our judges are looking for hotels where weddings are not tholed as business boosters – but courted and embraced passionately to be at the heart of the operation. In short, we look for places that love tackling each and every wedding and go about each enquiry and hosted wedding with enormous care for the individual couple. We seek innovation, kindness and proven satisfaction. High quality personal attention is a must and this will include creative planning and support, including dynamic and unstinting support on the day. Judges will look at the physical aspects of the room; the whole setting, appearance, backdrop and flexibility of the venue; and any innovative or helpful technical features on call.
