Our review

The Sheraton Grand is a modern five-star contemporary style hotel, located in the heart of Edinburgh within a stone’s throw of the Castle, Princes Street and within the financial sector. As such it is ideally located for a business trip or leisure visit. Literally positioned directly across from the Usher Hall you couldn’t be better placed.

The 269 purpose built bedrooms all offer similar amenities and standards, there is a great choice of King or Twin rooms, Castle view or enjoy the luxury of the top floor, with the complimentary Club Lounge. 

One Spa has to be one of the best and largest urban spas in the country, fabulous facilities, treatments too numerous to mention, and a swimming pool with the light flooding in leading onto the rooftop outdoor hydropool.

The hotel has the largest events room in Edinburgh and has an enviable reputation for serving the finest banquets, weddings and conferences as well as a number of smaller rooms ideal for meetings and private dining.

The Chefs at the Sheraton Grand take great care of the standards of food and are always coming up with innovative dishes most of which focus on the great larder of Scotland. One Square Bar is very welcoming and modern and they offer a terrific range of whiskies and now even more notably over 100 gins, many of which are from Scotland. They have developed with Pickerings a special gin that is unique and is bottled for ‘One Square’.

The hotel extends a warm and genuine welcome to all the guests in this super hotel in this super city.
